Student Diversity Conference
Multicultural Student Affairs invites all KSU students to attend the 2nd annual Student Diversity Conference on Friday, March 23rd 2018 from 10am - 4pm in the Social Sciences building on Kennesaw Campus. This conference will focus on exploring multiple identities, cross-cultural engagement and the concept intersetionality through facilitated workshops, activities, and roundtable discussions. Conference presentations will cover a variety of topics including:
- Establishing a holistic view of self and others (multiple identities).
- Exploring the constructs of power, privilege, and oppression.
- Creating an inclusive community environment
- How to effectively advocate for yourself and others
- ...and more
Tentative Conference Schedule:
10-11am Opening Session & Keynote Speaker
11-12pm Concurrent Workshop Sessions I
12-1pm Concurrent Workshop Session II
1-2pm Lunch Break - "The Commons" (attendees will recieve a lunch ticket)
2-3pm Concurrent Workshop Session III
3-4pm Closing Session

We want to give you an opportunity to present at this year's conference. If you, or your student group, have a 40-50 minute presentation that you would like to present at the conference, please click HERE to submit a presentation proposal. We will review all proposals and let you know if we'd like you to present at this year's conference!
